When I plug my memory card into the computer to transfer my photos onto here, when I put it back in my camera and go to look at my pictures again, some come up with "File error" and it won't let me see the picture.

Does anyone know how I can avoid this? Or why it's doing it? Any ideas?

It's really annoying me cause i'd like to be able to look at the photos i've took after i've uploaded them onto the computer.

Did you reformat your card before taking pictures on it?

I have no idea what that means, please explain, i'm rubbish with things like that.

Under the playback feature or in your menu settings on your camera there should be a "reformat memory card" feature and you're supposed to reformat every time you use your memory card in a different camera otherwise they might crap out on you. They usually don't but unfortunately sometimes they do.

It's a new memory card.

Yeah, you're supposed to do it for every memory card before you use it.
