... that were wrong, but made perfect sense.

I thought it was Gisney because of the way the D looks.
I thought that ears were connected. Meaning if you dropped something into one ear, you could tilt your head it would come out the other. (thank god I never tried this.)
I thought that 'don't drink and drive' meant don't drink ANYTHING and drive. So I'd always be like WTF SDFHSDFW!! when my mom would drive and sip water. Because, after all, you're taking your eyes off the road.
I thought that being a grownup would be fun.
I thought that french kissing is just smashing lips together.
I thought that Santa was real /: lol.
I thought that if you got close enough to a telephone pole, you could hear people's conversations.
I was a bit of an idiot, lol.

You know the brand "President's Choice"? Well I thought the president ate every single brand of that type of food and picked which one he liked best and then named it President's Choice lol.
I also thought a bookkeeper was someone who took track of all the books someone has read in the lifes so didn't wouldn't read it twice hahaha.

I thought there wasn't anything more to life than running around, playing in jungle gyms, The Lion King and coloring.
To this day, I believe the same exact thi--hahahhaha just kidding
On a more serious note. Y'know the traditional red "bindi" South Asian (mainly Indian) women wear?
Well I used to think it was like a red thumbtack stabbed into their foreheads...

- I told my family that I could see them from my mums bellybutton when she was pregnant with me so I already knew who they all were.
- I thought that Tsunami was a country (up until last year). I don't watch the news so I thought when people talked about Tsunami, that it was the country with the giant wave. Not the actual wave itself.
- I thought that sex would be way better than it is all the time.
I'm sure theres loads more, but can't think at the moment.

I used to see the sign "pass with care" and think it was car. I yelled at my dad when he was passing a car, and we were in his truck.
I always thought I was so safe in the car. Id sit in the middle of the backseat with all three belts on. the lapbelt, and the two on me. i didn't want to meet the windsheild.
I used to drive around my yard on the lawn tractor pretending I was drivng. Going so far and stopping like at a light or stop sign. Using my hands for blinkers.

My dad had my fully convinced for about 5 years that there was a wild boar living in our shoe cabinet. Everytime he stuck his hand in there he pretended that the wild boar was chewing on it and he went into crazy fits pretending that he had trouble getting his hand out. I was way to scared to open that cabinet, so it took me a while to find out.

I used to think you were only allowed to marry someone with the same eye colour as you, so your kids would have the same eye colour and not have mixed colours. haha
I also believed when I was very little that you had to name twin children the same name. hahaha

I thought sex = love. Boy was I wrong.
I thought that it was okay for a man to make all the rules-from my mother's side and I thought dad's always worked and moms didn't.
I thought that you had endless amounts of money, that swiping your card just meant you had tons of money somewhere and the money came off your card.
I thought that I'd marry the first person I fell in love with.
I thought that everyone had pancreas problems.
I believed in real true love like you see in the movies, then I found out that it doesn't happen like that.
And oh, when I started driving, I belived accidents happened to other people and not me. And that if I ever got in an accident it wouldn't be my fault and I wouldn't have anyone I loved in the car with me.... I was wrong. My first accident I had my little sister in the car and it was my fault.

Haha, here is something my friend thought when she was little.
She's American and she thought the words to the anthem were "Jose, can you see ..." and she thought it was just someone asking this guy Jose if he could see the flag etc. It wasn't until she could read and read the lyrics that she found out it was actually "oh say, can you see .."
I laughed so hard when she told me, I hope she never ever finds out I posted that on here haha!
