I wasn't sure where to post this, sorry if it's not supposed to be here.
For as long as I can remember, I've always liked even numbers. I didn't think it was a big deal but lately I've been paying more and more attention to the things I do without even thinking. I have to chew my food and blink an even number of times. I count the steps it takes me to get from one place to another and if it's not an even number I have to take a really small step at the end to even it out. If my right arm is itchy then I have to scratch an even number of times times then scratch my other arm to even it out. Volume level on my TV or radio always has to be at an even number. If I accidentally bump my hand into the door or something I have to bump my other hand or bump the same hand twice. I count the things on my dresser and on my desk two times a day to make sure there's an even number of things on it. I even check my blood sugar twice as much as I'm have to.
Does this happen to any one else or is it OCD? Do you guys have anything weird that you do?

id say thats definately signs of OCD
not that its a bad thing.. as long as it doesnt effect you living a happy life and it doesnt effect people around you.. its completely harmless.
if its too distracting.. well perhaps you should take a trip to the doctors to see what can be done about it.

EVERYONE is obsessive complusive to some level. However, the way it become a full blown disorder is when it affects your every day life. It does kind of look like its getting that way. Also, if you notice a sharp increase in the behaviours, its normally a sign that things may need to be sorted. Doctors wil normally be happy to help/refer you to someone who can help.

I used to always avoid stepping on lines in the concrete or footpaths, and on corners I would always step over imaginary lines that joined the corners. lol. I don't do it anymore, but I really don't know why I did it. I agree with everyone else, if it's affecting your day to day life then it's best to see a doctor

I'm the same with the volume in my car, it HAS to be on an even number. My lottery numbers are all even. When I play roulette, all my numbers are even. But thats as far as it goes with me.

I always make sure the volume in the car or tv is on even. I lean towards picking even numbers all the time.

I don't think it's that big of a deal but I will bring it up to my doctor the next time I see her. It's not really distracting and I don't have a panic attack or anything when other people are watching the TV with odd numbered volume. It just kind of bothers me. I'm gonna purposely start doing things in odd numbers just to mess with myself, haha. Sounds kinda weird but whatever.
