my alarm on my car kept going off for no reason, one night it went off at 230 am and i went outside to turn it off, then today when i got home 10 mins later it went off again. even when i go to unlock my car the alarm would go off even though im only using the unlock button it did about three times so far. i don't know if i need a new battery for my keyless remote or if it has to do something with my car? its a plymouth neon, do anybody know what the problem could be?

Your alarm is attached to your battery, right? So check that.

maybe because its a neon? wink.gif

If you cant figure it out and if it a older model (say if it wasnt worth the cost of getting it fixed) just rip it out. wont do any damage to the car and its pretty much one wire.

it is 2001 plymouth neon and i already bought a new battery for my keyless remote like few months ago.

neons are awesome. don't be hatin!

but if you are having an issue with your car, I say go here http://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen-neon-78/ and ask those guys. They knows the innies and outies of neons, and I'm sure they can help you better than us. I can't even help because my neon is a plain jane. She doesn't have any alarms or buttons. Just crank windows and doors with manual locks.
