What are your views on tattoos? Do you have any? Are you planning on getting any?
..................
I love tattoos. I think they're beautiful. I especially love them on boys.

I currently don't have any, but I do plan on getting a couple soon enough. I plan on getting:
1) the words "Amor vincit omnia" (meaning: love conquers everything)
2) the chinese symbol for love that my boyfriend drew up, shaped as a heart
3) the chinese symbol for daughter (my mom is getting the mother one)
I probably will also get tattoos symbolising my future kids in the future.

i'm neither pro, or anti body art. it depends on the person and expressing themselves.
i currently have 5 tattoos.
1. a hibiscus flower on the back of my neck. its for my brother, he moved to hawaii and hibiscuses are the state flower of hawaii
2 & 3. i have hakuna matata tattooed on the inside of my wrists in blacklight ink.
4 & 5. i have stars on the outside of my ankles.
i plan to get 5 more stars in other places on my body and i want to get a dinosaur (either little foot from the land before time with a tree star,, or a raptor) on my hip. haha its kinda corny but its special to me.

I do like them, and I do also believe it depends on the person.
I have one right now on my right shoulder that says "believe." I do plan on getting more.

I grew up thinking it was "Omnia vincit amor"!
I really want a wrist tattoo but the Other is totally against it. I am thinking maybe I will get a small something somewhere not obvious to ease him into the idea of tatts.

I don't have any yet but I'm getting one after my wedding! I want to get a heart design on my lower back (it's really hard to describe!)

Oh get Little Foot!! I would totally idolize you for that. =)
I have 3 small tattoos, so I guess I'm pro ink. However some people-tattoo combos are just wrong and I don't like people who get tattoos for attention.
Haha, my grandma almost had a heart-attack when I got my first one. I will always think of her when I think of tattooing. She said that only prisoners had tatts. My silly grandma, bless her heart. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo for her, a marguerite, since her name was Margarete.
As for the omnia vincit amor/ amor vincit omnia/ vincit omnia amor ... it's Latin anyway, what a sentence means depends mainly on the cases, not on the word order like in English. So as long as you don't change the words themselves, you can put them in whichever order you like. I think I'd prefer the omnia at the start. Omnia vincit amor. That sounds very poetic!

Both are acceptable and mean the same thing, although there could be a slight difference in emphasis. Actually, you can put the three words in any of the 6 possible orders and it would still be alright. So on that level, you can pick which one you like. To me, To me, Amor Vincit Omnia looks like the correct version because of the direct translation match: Love Conquers All

What are your tattoos of, if you don't mind me asking?

I would like one or two, and have a few things in mind, but I'm allergic to pain haha. I will man up soon though because I really want a little anchor either on the back of my shoulder, or near my ankle. I'd love some flowers up my back or up my ribs, but obviously that's a lot of pain and a lot of moneys!
My boyfriend does have two though, which I think has made me a lot more accepting of them. I hated his tattoos when he got them both (I think he not-so-secretly enjoys randomly getting them without me knowing and not telling me til I spot the cling film!) but now I love them as they're another part of him.

I honestly think tattoos look trashy. It just looks very low class.

I'm not exactly against them, but I do think too many tattoos is kinda ugly and tacky.
I would never get one just because they are too permenant for me, it would take so long to decide what I want because I'd be too afraid of waking up one day deciding that I dont like it anymore.

I want one tattoo at least and that is a buttefly with the word strength underneath.
I went through a lot last year with almost dying and I had the strength to get through it, a lot of people gave me butterfly stuff after for get well presents and it stuck. Plus there's a specific poem that was written for me just about a butterfly how it changes. So mine has a really special meaning to me. I'm getting that on my right shoulder blade and Idk if I'll get anymore, well see after I get that one.

I love tattoos. I have two currently.
1. I have "stand your ground" written on my back between my shoulder blades.
2. I have a charm bracelet around my ankles. The charms are all going to be Chinese symbols that mean something to me. I only have one on there currently that means "faithful". My next charm is going to mean "independent." Which i plan on getting withing the next week or so.
Im getting more. Im getting my sign on the back of my neck. And i want stars somewhere on me. I think on my hip bone, once i lose some more weight. And I want something on my other ankle, im just not sure what yet.

I am completely fascinated by tattoos, and love seeing other peoples. I have none of my own because I do not like the permanency. And I can't make a decision to save my life so I know whatever I get, I wil regret. I have a friend with 2/3rds of her back as an artwork of Gabriel and Satan, and another huges calf piece of some animated character I do not know. I love them, but I could not imagine doing soemthing like that myself....
I wish there were 1 year tattoos, or maybe 5 at a push. Love the idea of those black ink ones, tho....thinking more seriously about that.

I currently have one tattoo on the outside of my ankle. It's a pair of scissors. It has so much meaning to me.. two of my best friends from hair school and I went to a hair show last year when we were in school still. We came back and decided to get tattoos to symbolize all the memories from hair school. And it's the bond that keeps us still together when we're working lots and too busy to see each other. I dunno, cheesy I guess, but I love it. AND the tattoo artist scanned our actual scissors from school, so its our school scissors, and not just a random pair of scissors.
I wanna get another one on the top of my foot.. and a few others, but I dunno what I want yet, so no rush.
