Have you used one? They get beyond hot instantly and don't see to fry your hair! I like it.... they are like 200ish at the mall, but way cheaper on ebay....

i've never used one/seen one in person. what do you do? just wrap your hair around it? kinda like a normal curling iron except you don't have that thing that clamps your hair to the iron?

you wear the glove so you don't burn yourself, and just wrap your hair around it and hold the end of your hair at the tip.

Yeeeeah. I just use a regular curling iron though. If you know how to, it definitely works (:

I don't like curling iron curls. I prefer to do flat iron curls.
I haven't seen the no clamp thing though.. kinda neat. i've seen the ones where it's not a spring clamp, you have to hold the clamp part down.

Somewhere on YouTube teaches you how to take that thing off your reg curler so it can be like the Enzo's and what not.
But I agree with Jessica, I'm stuck on my flat iron curls :]

Man, my hairdresser was bitching x10 about the reliance of young hairdressers/kids on flat iron curling!

I just had to go look up flat iron curling... I've never heard of that. :S

It's totally cheating and is more like a weird crimp/curl hybrid than the real deal!
I have two curling irons because I love making my hair curly. I just find that it takes so long to do all my hair that by the time I get from one side to the other, the side I started on has already fallen out! So I want to invest in some rollers.

Hrm. Love, I think maybe you're thinking of triple-barrel iron, which gives wave, not curl.. and is cheating. Flat iron curling gives curls that are VERY similar to curling iron curls, they are just loser, more natural looking than the ringlets of a curling iron.

Eh I don't like the triple-barrels.
If you don't want so much of a tight curl, use your curler, but wrap your hair around it (without opening the clamp) as you would around an Enzo Milano (clampless barrel). It turns out gorgeous, and doesn't take much time at all. Actually I think it goes faster than curling your hair.

Nope, definitely thinking of a flat iron/straightening iron.

Ugh I hate the triple barel too. I started using my straightener to crimp/wave my hair after my mom said no a million times then stupidbitch got me on for Christmas. Waste of money! Used it once.

Well then I don't get why your hairdresser would bitch about it. You can get a similar curl, if you wanted, and its definitely not cheating. It's practically the same amount of work, and I think it looks nicer. Its the kind of curl thats 'in'.. around here, at least.
