i had to take a general studies class this semester in college, i took a class called Perspectives on Love. it's pretty interesting. anyways... i have to write a reasearch paper, on anything love related and i am drawing a blank for thinking up any ideas. she hasnt really given us any more info other than "come up with a topic for a research paper that is 'love' related" hmm.

Different types of love?

Love for family members is different to love you have for a bf or gf and in turn love you have for friends is also different.

Try looking up Sternberg. He developed some of the different theories on love (thats from a psychologists point of view anyway)

The only real research paper I did was on "Secret Societies" and though it's not much in the love genre, it does have some interesting perspectives on how society views "love" and how that affected groups throughout history and how they dictated how society would in fact view that love between people. Alot also on the influence of societies views and how to control people through their emotions....like love. Interesting to me.....oh well
