Im in 6th grade and im really scared of all the bigger kids in my junior high school. The 8th graders look like adults to me! I am a lot smaller, and i have some friends, but i get picked on some times by the older kids. what should i do? the girls are so pretty, i dont fit in with them.

Just be yourself, 8th graders were in your shoes at one point.
Yeah its scary to be the little kids but just remember that in a few years you will
be in 8th grade remembering how scared you were.

I know both positions. 6th graders are a lot smaller than everyone else. But at the middle schools in out town the 6th and 8th graders are pretty well separated. Just on the bus was the only problem. As for the 8th grade mind? It is just fun to intimidate the yourger kids. I doubt any of them willl give you any problems. They just try to look scary. At least in my experience.

i see this post was a really long time ago, buttttt hows it going for you? yeah i was an 8th grader last year and all these other people would pick on the 6th graders and i got really mad hahah, but now im sort of in the same position as you being a freshman, and yes the seniors are so mean they just start chanting "FRESHMAN SUCKKKK" all the time, buuuuuut its okay i guess haha

Come awn, eighth graders aren't that bad! Well...when I was in sixth grade, I was a little scared of them, but you'll get over it. In just two or three years you'll be an eighth grader anyway...and just two or three years ago they were sixth graders like you! Plus, they're not going to do anything to you anyway. I'm a seventh grader, and no eighth grader has ever been mean to me...

Well, when I was in sixth grade, I made a friend who was in eighth. So it didn't turn out to be a problem to me.

well i'm fixing to start high school, but when i started junior high i pretty much knew all the 8th graders, but i suggest you get involved, that's what i did and now i know all the sophmores.
it really helps alot to get involved.
