My laptops memory completely crashed, and I needed to install Windows again... so everything on my laptop has been erased. Previously, I used Limewire, but I was wondering if there were any other good (free) programs out there. Before Limewire I used to use WinMX and I hated it.

Kazaa is loaded with spyware

Soulseek is quite good, but doesn't run on the same network as Limewire. Limewire runs on the Gnutella network, which is an open protocol and there are hundreds of clients out there. Just watch out, because many of them are shoddy products loaded with malware.
