Haha. I don't know, maybe some people on here actually have the courage just to hold on a spider? I mean, I am not afraid of them or anything, but.. I wouldn't hold one.

A few weeks ago I was in the bathroom and there was a spider on the ceiling on the other side of the bathroom (which happened to be where the door is), and it came down off the ceiling all the way to the floor, and I was standing on the toilet seat till it craweled out of the way.
Point is, I wouldnt want a spider near me, let alone on me.

Sure, I usually have to take them out to the garden because my mum is really scared of them. It's only the really big black ones that freak me out a little.

Oh god no!!! There was once a spider on my fan, and I wouldnt come into my room until my brother killed it.

at times. but after i flip out. i cant even kill one now.

if i see a spider, i will not return to that room until a member of my family kills it, i run in the opposite direction of them, if there is one in the bathroom i will use the other one, i am so scared of them, i cant even kill them myself unless i use a phone book, throw it at it and run !

i dont mind spiders if they are on a wall. but if they are on me or in my milk then i freak.

so no, i wouldnt hold a spider lol.

About two years ago we had some people come to our school with the 'Creepy Crawly Roadshow'. And I held a tarantula in my hand, and they took my picture. It tickled my hand :S

i have a bug phobia so deffff not.

Random story. at camp yesterday we needed buckets of water from the creek/swamp thing for the fire. we went and got them and noticed that there was some huge ass spider/stick bug/water thing in one of the buckets just swimmin around. it was the creepiest thing ever. about the length of a hand with all its legs. my friend picked it up and brought it back to the creek. bleh. it was creeeepy.

im TERRIFIED of spiders &+ there is NO WAY i could hold one.

I would hold a money spider or a tad bigger than that but not the big fat ones, they creep me out x

I'm like the opposite!
I'll hold the really big ones, but I hate the little ones. Cos when they crawl away you can lose them easily O_O

hahaha, I do the same. Throw and run. But if there is one in the bathroom, I pour soap on it, and then grab it with toilet paper. The soap doesn't kill it! It just slows it down so it won't "run onto my hands".

Yeah, no, I wouldn't ever hold a spider. I didn't sleep in my room for two nights because there was a spider in it. My dad and I finally did a "search and destroy" mission that weekend.

Haha I'm guilty of the hit and run. My bedroom is halfway underground so I get a lot of spiders in my room. I'm still scared to sleep if there is one in my room though. I hate waking up with spider bites on my face.

Kay story time.

I grabbed my hair spray two days while I was getting ready for school. I held my hand there for a few seconds while I was thinking about where to spray it. I started to feel something tickling my hand. I looked down and there was this HUGE RED SPIDER on my hand. It was so nasty. It has yellow spots all over it and eshh.

So I guess I kind of held a spider... for like ... 4 seconds

I can…my neighbor actually just got a tarantula for a pet…I have no idea why but she did. His name is James and I held him…but it felt really weird.

i'm sure i could i would just be scared it would jump off and then i would never see it again... or like jump in my hair. o_o

LOL, yeah, I used to spray cleaners on them also but they still run fast! And like I'd have to take my eyes off of it... When I'm in my room, I pour lotion on them to slow them down- that liquidy bath and body works body lotion stuff.

I am really scarred of spiders. I freak out when I see one. I live in the woods, boondocks really, and they always come in here. I also have a pool, and it's like that attracts them. Every morning when I take my dog outside I see a huge wood spider just taking it's morning swim. I hate it! And wood spiders grow to be pretty freakin big!

One day I was sitting on my bed after cleaning my room. I looked over to the other side of my bed and saw a huge one crawling towards me. That was the same day I found my obession/weapon/love... Lysol. I grabbed the can and sprayed it. I used so much lysol that it soaked the comforter, sheets, and mattress. It like froze him. He died germ free.

Then the other day I went to get something to cook out the cabinet. I opened the door and I saw another big one. Again, I grabbed my trusty Lysol can and soaked that ugly sucker. Then I grabbed the broom and dragged all the boxes and cans out. Then I soaked him again. Then I left him there with all the grociers out all over the floor until my mom came home. That was about 7 hours since I attacked him in the morning. I didn't eat. Now everytime I go to get something out the cabinet, I have a lysol can in my hand. I also have to have one in my room. Kills germs and spiders.

i am absolutely afraid of spiders im like an arachnaphobia &+ i have to leave the room if theres one in there.

i guess it depends what kind of spider. if i knew that the spider didn't have fangs or wasn't poisonous then why not. im not too squeamish around bugs. but cockroaches are disgusting
