Nothing wrong with mine :]

Argh.
Clearly no one is taking notice of my point.
Of course you can go your whole life getting holes punched in you with a blunt gun and nothing happening, but there is NOTHING good about them. Nothing.
Experiences don't mean a thing.
Guns will never be competent peircing instruments in contrast to what should be used.

... WOW.
In case you DIE, nice knowing you.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS get a piercing, especially one like your tongue, done PROFESSIONALLY.
AGREED UPON ^^
I pierced my own earlobes, I ended up doing something funky, it ended up going purple and many other odd colors, my ears where in more then just pain for months, and I wasnt happy. learn from my mistake.. GO TO A PROFESSINAL.

Honestly it's not smart to have some one else do it who isnt professional, I don't care who she is or what she does but only if it's professional. It's not a good idea to do a " Do it yourself " piercing.
For Becky I think you asked about moving the ring around?
Move it back and forth every once in awhile, if you don't puss and dry skin build up and create it to stick or hurt. Just try and move it around a lot and clean it with H2ocean or your cleaning stuff that you have.

Hey.. well i got my lip pierced today.. wasnt half as bad as i thought it would be.. a lot more painful than my eyebrown but not bad. And from what my piercer said to me.. lip piercings should be studs at first because since its newly pierced if you get a hoop it can heal funny and may split your lip or something so a stud allows it to heal straight so that when you put a hoop it its flexible to have either a hoop or stud.. but thats just what he said..

What does it actually mean to 'blow up'? does it swell up and then...pop? It does sound uncomfortable..
PensandNeedles
Aug 14 2006, 11:04 AM
It all depends. Sometimes the swelling just gets to a point where it needs to pop. It's not too common as most swellings can be treated with sea salt soaks, hot compresses and the like.
When it does happen though, wow it's disgusting. xD

I had my belly button pierced...my nose pierced...and the inside of my ear (inner conch) pierced..all of them got that bubble but sea salt worked wonders. I wish I knew about it before my belly button ring grew out and my body rejected it thanks to high white blood cell count. :-(

Excuse my appaling spelling. *Septum.
Sternum's are pierced the same way as most surface piercings.
I was lying down when it was done so i couldn't see too much. It was marked, clamped, pierced etc.
Didn't bleed to much either.
I wasn't surprised when i had to retire it though, they generally have a high risk of rejection.

PensandNeedles
Sep 6 2006, 01:15 PM
A lot of people have said that actually.
My auntie said her ear cartelidge hurt more than her tongue.,
Probably because the tongue is just one, excessively long, disconnected-at-one-end muscle.
And cartelidge is undeveloped bone.
Yum/.

I'm thinking of going into get my bellybutton peirced but im not quite sure. Can anyone tell me how much it hurt them? And it it was quick or felt like a long time. And i was also wondering when the pierce it how do they get the barbell in with the needle there.. if you know what I mean.

ok well it hurts less than getting your cardilage done and when i got it done, they like just quickly put the pierce in and thats it. The pain was really fast..the only thing that hurt was the clamp holding the area that i was getting the hole in.

and i have braces. it doesn't
get caught or anything. and
it takes about 2 months to heal
but i ended up taking mine out

it kind of hurts while putting it back in.

Well i'll tell you now, the majority of my piercings my father doesn't know about. =D
Unless he sees them by accident (which seems to happen on a pretty regular basis.)
Haarr.
My mother doesn't mind though.
If he was a bit more lenient i'd have all the piercings i want. =D
But right now i'm happy with what i've got (3 lobes on each side-first two are stretched to about a 10g, navel, re-pierced sternum and i did have some surfaces on my wrist but they rejected.)

I don't have one, but am planning to get 1 on my left ear, or on both ears by this summer.
I just want to say I sat behind a girl in DE, and I loved her piercings. She had 3 on each ear. All at the bottom going up maybe an inch all together, evenly spaced with the largest at the bottom going up with another smaller one, then a small one. Hard do describe :/ but it was REALLY sexy and cool. Diamonds.

Alot of girls do that with gold hoops.
I need to get larger ones. The 3rd hole are still my starter earings from 4-6 months ago.
