As most of you already know, my grandad passed away last night. I'm already panicking about what to wear for the funeral. I haven't been to a funeral for years, and it being my grandads, I want it to be perfect. I really have no idea. Any help?

Dress pants and a simple blouse, or a simple flowy dress (simple as in no sequins etc.) The simpler the better. You definitely don't want to look all glammed up, so nothing shiny or metallic, nothing too tight. Doesn't have to be black but any dark or neutral or pastel perhaps would be fine, but it'd look too sexy if you wore red or hot pink.

I agree, don't wear all black, it seems cliche, but do stick to dark colours. If it's a dress, keep it quite long (to the knee), cover up, no plunging necklines.

I've been looking at these, what do you think? Or am I going completely down the wrong path?

The first one is too clingy. My preference is 2 but only if you have something to cover your arms.

I'd wear a little jacket with whatever i'm going to wear. I really have no clue on what to wear in the slightest.

Oh ok. I'd say the 2nd dress with flats and your jacket or something. I wouldn't recommend jewelry unless it's a really dainty necklace/ring.

I'd go for something like the second dress as well. And flats, not heels.

Wear an outfit your grandad would have approved of/liked!
